Core Component of Aluminum Dross Separation Machine
The dross rubbing pot is a key working component of the aluminum dross separation machine and is widely used in lost foam casting, electrolytic aluminum oxide skimming, and aluminum dross recycling systems. The separation process is based on the differences in physical properties and density between solid and liquid phases, enabling efficient separation of molten aluminum from residual dross.
High-temperature aluminum dross discharged from the furnace usually contains a certain proportion of metallic aluminum. After being fed into the aluminum dross separation machine by a charging trolley, the material enters the rubbing pot for processing. An adjustable-height stirring system is installed inside the pot. During stirring, the entrapped molten aluminum gradually migrates toward the bottom of the container, forming a stable molten aluminum pool, while the residual dross naturally remains above the melt.
During continuous stirring, the solid residue is discharged through the dross outlet at the lower part of the pot, while the separated molten aluminum flows out through the bottom tapping hole and can be directly cast into aluminum ingots, achieving efficient recovery and reuse of aluminum resources.
